 Local Businesswoman Earns Prestigious Designation

Certified Speaking Professional
Rosemary A. Ward, M.A., CSP, was awarded the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation at the National Speakers Association’s National Convention in Washington D.C. in August. Established in 1980, this designation is the speaking profession’s international measure of professional platform skill and business acumen. Today, the CSP is conferred only on those who have earned it by meeting strict criteria, including:

Serving at least 500 clients within a 5 – year period

Presenting at 250 professional engagements within the same 5 – year period

Submitting testimonial letters from clients served

Receiving excellent ratings on performance evaluations

Earning continuing education credits

Meeting or exceeding financial benchmarks as determined by the Association
In addition to their proven track record of experience and expertise, CSP’s are committed to outstanding service and ethical behavior. Fewer than 7% of the 5,000 speakers who belong to the International Federation for Professional Speakers hold this designation.
Ward is the President and CEO of Training Direct, LLC based in Whitehall, Michigan. She specializes in helping companies develop world-class customer service and teamwork. Ward is also a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Agribusiness and Education.

Consultant Presents at Breakthrough Conference
Rosemary Ward of Whitehall, MI recently presented a seminar at the 24th annual Inscape Business Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The seminar, entitled, Collaborating with Other Distributors for Maximum Impact provided conference attendees with an opportunity to learn more about enhancing network relationships. Rosemary Ward’s seminar provided valuable insights to our network of trainers.
